Carlos Rojas Mota Velasco is the co-founder, Executive President, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Grupo Rotoplas, the leading provider of individual and integrated water solutions in the Americas.
Carlos has long been recognized for his entrepreneurial spirit, having participated in a wide range of industries both as investor and advisor.

Carlos Rojas joined Grupo Rotoplas in 2004 through the Company’s Executive Development Program while still enrolled at university. He was appointed as Grupo Rotoplas’ Chief New Business Officer and joined the Rotoplas Board of Directors in 2014. He is the Group’s CEO since May 2019.
Since joining the Company, he has held various operational positions within the organization; he actively contributed in the Agua para Todos program in Brazil, boosted the Innovation and Development area growth, led the United States expansion, and executed the water fountain program in Mexico.
Carlos has identified valuable opportunities for the company, including strategies focused on the sustainable development of the organization.
Carlos holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Santa Fe campus, CDMX, MX, and a Master's in Business Administration from Babson College, MA, USA.
Mario Romero

Mario Romero joined Grupo Rotoplas in 1995 through the Company’s Executive Development Program while still enrolled at university. He was appointed as Grupo Rotoplas’ Chief Financial Officer in 2004 and joined the Rotoplas Board of Directors in 2003.
Over the last 10 years, Mario has held various operational positions with a particular focus on finance and strategy. During this time, he also opened Rotoplas’ operations in Peru and Brazil, launched the Company’s filters and pipes businesses in Mexico and established its resin compounding facility.
His day-to-day work involves making decisions that have a financial impact on the Company, efficient resource management, and approval of the annual financial and sustainability report, among others.
Mario holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de Mexico (ITAM), CDMX, MX, and a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from Harvard University, MA, EUA.
Gonzalo Uribe

Gonzalo Uribe has been COO since 2011. He joined Grupo Rotoplas in 2001 and joined the Rotoplas Board of Directors in 2013.
Gonzalo has held various operational positions since joining the Company, and has been involved in the implementation of the Supply Chain and the pipe business growth, positioning it as the market leader. His leadership has been fundamental for the international consolidation and growth of the business in recent years.
He is in charge of improving the Supply Chain processes, optimizing resources, and implementing communication strategies that raise client awareness about responsible and sustainable water use, among others.
Before joining Grupo Rotoplas he was Chief Operation Officer at Comexma SA de CV, a textile business.
He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering form the Universidad Anáhuac, CDMX, MX and a Master's in Business Administration from the Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresas (IPADE), CDMX, MX.

Alfredo Elías Ayub has been member of the Board of Directors since 2014.
He is also part of the Board of Directors of Rassini SAB de CV, Arcos Dorados Holdings, Inc., Grupo Financiero Banorte SAB de CV, Banorem SA de CV, and Avangrid, Inc.
Alfredo was a Director of the Board at Harvard Business School from 1998-2001, CEO of Aeropuertos y Servicios Auxiliares and CEO in the Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE).

Pablo Iturbe has been Director of Grupo Rotoplas since 2016.
Pablo worked in Grupo Rotoplas since 2007 until he left the Company in 2015. He started through the Company’s Executive Development Program, leading projects in the finance and marketing areas, while still enrolled at university.
His participation as full-time collaborator stands out in the industrial project implementation of Agua para Todos in Brazil. He also developed business strategies focused on the traditional channel in Mexico and the launch of school water fountains.
Currently he is developing private equity projects in the fields of water technology, real estate and health care services.
John G. Sylvia

John G. Sylvia has been an Independent Director of Grupo Rotoplas since 2003.
John is currently the CEO at HuHonun Bio Energy, and co-founder of Transformative Energy and Materials, Co. He previously served as CFO at CalEnergy, Co. Inc., and as Director of Northern Electric pic, Magma Power Co., CE Indonesia, and CE Filipinas. He was partner of the Texas Pacific Group, where he co-founded and managed the specialized water-related fund, Aqua International Partners (Aqua)¹.
John acted as associate professor of Applied Economics and Finance at the University of San Francisco, CA, USA, and studied at the Santa Clara University, CA, EUA.
¹ In 2003, Aqua acquired 20% of Grupo Rotoplas’ shares, which were bought back by the current controlling shareholders of the Company in 2010.

Francisco Amaury Olsen has been an Independent Director of Grupo Rotoplas since 2013.
For more than 20 years he was the CEO and Director of the Brazilian company Tigre SA, dedicated to the pipe market, and a partner-owner of Olsen Consultoria Empresarial S/S Ltda., Joinville, BR.
He has been member of the Board of Directos of Duratex SA, Associação Brasileira das Administradoreas de Consórcio, Marisol SA, Portobelo SA, Martins Comercio e Servicios de Distribuicao S/A, among others.

Leo Rastogi is currently founder and CEO of Minerva Groupe, a diversified business group with interests in health and wellness, medical technology, information technology, digital media and real estate.
He was previously CEO of the Digital Business Group at Happiest Minds Technologies and has more than a decade of experience as a member of different boards of directors.
He has been recognized for his achievements as an entrepreneur and has published two books of his own.
Leo holds a PhD in Leadership from Harvard Business School. Due to his extensive background in the industry, Leo will provide the Board of Directors with expertise in digital, analytics, e-commerce, workplace wellness and strategy.

She was also part of Under Armour Global as Senior Director of Product Line and as Marketing Manager of Emerging Markets Apparel at NIKE.

Alberto Esteban Arizu currently is the CEO of Bodega Luigi Bosca – Arizu Family and is the great-grandson of the winery’s founder. He also serves as Chairman of Wines of Argentina, an organization that brings together Argentine wine exporters and promotes. For the last 25 years, he has traveled to more than 50 countries around the world, developing the international strategy for marketing and positioning of his family's wines and promoting the brand "Argentine wine" in the world.

Regina is an economist with a PhD from Harvard, noted for her thesis on trade and the gender gap.
She has improved profitability and market share at Izzi and redefined the customer experience and pushed a new compensation model at Citibanamex, enhancing the bank's service reputation.
From 2006 to 2009, Mr. Garcia de Quevedo served as President of the Mining Chamber of Mexico. In 2007, he was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of AMC, and in 2014, he was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Grupo Mexico’s Infrastructure Division.
Currently, she contributes to academia and philanthropy, supporting educational opportunities and promoting gender equity.
She was named one of the "50 Women to Watch for Boards of Directors" in 2023 by 5050 Women on Boards, where she now serves as co-chair of the Mexico chapter.

Leader in business and operations with over 17 years of experience in the digital industry. He has been part of Google since the launch of its operation in Argentina in 2006, where he held various leadership positions in Latin America, Europe, and globally.
After 8 years in Dublin, he now leads the Google Customer Solutions organization for Hispanic America from Mexico City. Recognized as "top leadership talent" in Google Europe, he has received an honorary mention from the Great Manager Award and two Americas Best Manager Awards.
Simultaneously, Marcos has been imparting his expertise through teaching digital business in master's programs across Latin America and Europe for more than a decade.

José Luis Mantecón García is currently the Vice President of Sustainability and Institutional Business. He has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Saint Michael's College and a postgraduate executive degree in marketing from the Anáhuac University.
Mr. Mantecón held the position of Director of Rotoplas’ International Area; responsible for all of the company's operations outside of Mexico. Among his achievements is the development of self-cleaning biodigesters and the Water for All Program in Brazil that provided water to more than 1.2 million people through rainwater collection systems.
Before working at the Company, Mr. Mantecón founded several companies in the construction sector.
Mr. Mantecón has more than 25 years of professional experience at Grupo Rotoplas.
Juan Pablo Fonseca Ruiz

Juan Pablo Fonseca Ruiz is currently Director of Treatment Plants.
Juan Pablo holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the TEC de Monterrey, and did postgraduate studies in the OPM Program at Harvard Business School. He has worked at Sytesa since 2007.

Fabiano Pinto Gonçalves is currently the Country Manager in Brazil. He holds a BA in Civil Engineering from the Pontifical University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Babson College.

Diego Ponce joined Rotoplas in 2020. He is responsible for overseeing the execution of the Flow Transformation Strategy to achieve long-term value creation objectives. Diego has experience in leading transformations through innovative and disruptive projects related to strategic, digital, advanced analytics and big data transformation, along with digital marketing. Before joining Rotoplas he was Vice President of Innovation and Digital Transformation at one of the most important banks in Panama and Central America, being a key player in the launch of 100% digital banking.
